Statement
Accessibility
Last reviewed 22 September 2026
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this site, and to build client work to the same standard unless a project specifies otherwise. This statement describes what that means in practice, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.
Accessibility is a requirement in the work we deliver, not an add-on. If a project has Section 508, ADA or European Accessibility Act obligations, say so during discovery and it becomes part of scope and acceptance rather than a retrofit.
What this site does
- Keyboard access throughout. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible 3px focus ring. A skip link is the first thing in the tab order.
- Reduced motion is honoured. With
prefers-reduced-motionset, animation is removed rather than shortened — including the animated diagram on the homepage, which becomes a static image. - Contrast. Text and interface colours are checked against their backgrounds. Body navy on white measures 15.5:1 and the accent blue 5.8:1, against a 4.5:1 requirement.
- Semantic structure. One
h1per page, headings in order, landmark regions, tables with proper header associations, and expandable content built from native elements so it works without JavaScript. - Errors are not colour-only. Form errors carry an icon and text, are announced assertively, and the fields keep what you typed.
- Text scales. The layout holds at 200% zoom and reflows to a phone without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
A statement with nothing in this section usually means nobody looked. These are the things we are aware of:
- The bot-verification widget on the contact form is provided by Cloudflare. Its internal accessibility is outside our control. If it blocks you, the email address and phone number below reach us just as well.
- We have not yet commissioned an independent audit or testing with users of assistive technology. Our checks are automated tooling plus manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, which finds much but not everything.
- The section-progress rail on the homepage is decorative and hidden on narrow screens. Every destination it points to is also in the main navigation and the footer.
Tell us
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible to use, we want to know — including if it is something already listed above, because hearing it from a person changes the priority.
Email info@incitari.com or call +1 (615) 424-4155. Describe what you were trying to do and what happened; you do not need to know the technical cause. We aim to respond within two business days and will tell you what we can fix and when.
How this was assessed
Self-assessed against WCAG 2.2 Level AA using automated tooling, manual keyboard navigation, and browser accessibility inspection. This is not a third-party audit and we do not claim it as one. The date above is when it was last reviewed in full.
